Description

This optional add-on is designed for clients who want professional support moving from design direction to final material decisions for the room(s) or space(s) included in their approved design scope.*

Building on the approved layout and finish concepts, this service provides specific finish selections selected to align with your overall design vision, lifestyle needs, and project goals. Rather than overwhelming you with endless options, selections are intentionally limited and clearly presented to support confident decision-making.

Discovery Call + Interior Design Consultation are required for this service.

*This add-on is available to clients who have completed a S+L Design Plan service and want support moving from design direction to final finish decisions.

Not included:
-Floor plans or layout design
-3D renderings or visualizations
-Furniture, décor, or styling selections
-Procurement, ordering, or sample delivery
-Permit or construction documentation

How to Prepare

Prior to beginning the Finish Selections phase, please ensure:
-All layouts and major structural decisions are finalized
-Updated floor plans or elevations are provided (if revisions were made)
-Cabinet drawings, appliance specifications, and builder requirements are submitted
-Any previously selected materials are confirmed

Getting Started / Our Process

1. Book a Discovery Call
Schedule a complimentary Discovery Call. After booking, you’ll receive a brief client questionnaire, which must be completed prior to the call.
2. Select & Book Your Service
Following the Discovery Call, you’ll receive a link to book the recommended service based on your project scope.
3. Schedule Your Design Consultation
Once your service is booked, we’ll schedule your included design consultation to review your space and align on next steps.
4. Project Kickoff
Design work begins following the consultation and receipt of all required materials.

What’s Included:

Discovery Call + Design Consultation
A required first step for clients adding Finish Selections to their S+L Design Plan.
Discovery Call (30 minutes):
A focused call to confirm the room(s) or space(s) included in the approved design scope, review finish needs, and align on timeline and next steps.
Design Consultation (60 minutes):
A collaborative video consultation to review the approved design direction, discuss functional needs and preferences, and establish clear parameters for finish development.

These conversations ensure finish selections build seamlessly on the existing design plan and remain aligned with the approved scope before palette development begins.

Curated Finish Selections
-Designer-selected finishes aligned with your approved design direction, developed to support function, aesthetics, and long-term livability.

Initial Palette Options
-A 45-minute video presentation reviewing 1–2 thoughtfully developed finish palette options for the approved space(s), allowing you to compare approaches and provide focused feedback before refinement.

Refinement Round
-One round of revisions to refine the selected palette and finalize finishes based on client feedback.

Final Specification Sheet
-A consolidated specification document outlining all approved finish selections, including key product information needed for sourcing, ordering, and installation.

Design Notes & Guidance
-Concise written notes explaining the design intent behind the selected finishes and how they are meant to be applied, helping you move forward with confidence during sourcing and installation.

Revisions + Support
-One revision round*
-Email support during the active project window
-Access to the client portal for communication, notes, revisions, vision boards, project updates, and more!

*An additional revision is available, if necessary, and will be billed hourly at $125.

-All services are custom, time-based, and non-refundable once booked
-Deliverables are provided digitally only
-No physical samples or materials are included unless explicitly stated
